Dear Phil,
In California only five applications of dimethipin were made on cotton in 2003. The rate of 0.31-0.39 lbs a.i. were used. In 2002, there were 30 applications to cotton with a median rate of 0.31 lbs a.i.
I don't believe that changing the label rate to a maximum rate of 0.31 lbs a.i. will adversely impact users in CA.
