Teung,

The proposed label rates, REI and number of applications per year for Christmas trees will not be a problem in California.

Dear Colleagues:

EPA is finalizing its label decisions for malathion.

Please let me know if the following EPA decisions will be acceptable for Christmas tree growers:

(1)  Non-ULV 3.2 lb ai/acre  maximum single rate , two applications maximum per year; 12 hour REI
(2)  ULV  0.9375  lb ai/acre  maximum single rate , two applications maximum per year; 12 hour REI

I will need your feedback within in two weeks if at all possible (Wed. October 11).  Thank you!

Teung Chin
