My federal colleagues would like to know the specificity of the data for methyl bromide use in California. How much is being used and where. If we see small amounts being used in a location, we may be able to assume that the methyl bromide is being used for that research purposes and perhaps for QPS purposes. Is it possible for you to generate something from the Pesticide Use Reports?
Similarly, does the California permitting system, require a user of methyl bromide to state why the methyl bromide is being used? In other words, if for research purposes and QPS purposes?
